Storytelling Workshops
Workshops can dig into storytelling for business, or we can take a person-first approach. In either, we'll build out a story framework and plan that will create a stable, supportive, loving, intentional base for the generations to come. We'll make our ceiling their floor.
None of that happens by accident, and in a workshop environment we can go from introducing the idea to putting the concepts in to action.
The misunderstanding that people have is that their legacy is about them. It’s not. It’s about the ones who come next. So we do them a disservice if our stories die with us.
All of the achievements, the sacrifices, the lessons of your life can build a platform for your kids and their kids to build on - or for the successors in your business or community.
Time permitting for your event or needs, we can even include cameras and lights and do some actual filmmaking.

Documentary Films
There's a fascinating story behind every door. Let's tell yours.
Teeg is the founder & executive producer at Fascination Film Studio.
In addition to working together on a keynote or workshop (or podcast appearance or consulting) could it make sense to work on a film?
Companies create micro-docs, mini-docs and longer films for marketing, recruiting, training and to celebrate milestones. Documentary-style films make people feel entertained and educated - not sold or marketed to.
Communities work with Fascination Film Studio for similar reasons, but especially to catalyze a community, invite investment, to remember the past and cast vision for the future.
Non-profit organizations work with Fascination Film Studio for cause-oriented films, fundraising, and milestone projects.
Individuals and families work with Fascination Film Studio to create Heritage & Legacy films that pass along values from generation to generation. Some honor patriarchs and matriarchs while they're still living - particularly at milestone moments like retirement or round-number birthdays and anniversaries; others are intended to create generational staircases that lead up.

Keynote Speeches
Transformational | Transportational | Transactional
If you're looking for impact - a challenge to the audience - then choose a transformational talk. One is geared more toward business ("How does story solve our most pressing problems at work?") and the other is more individual / leadership / legacy focused ("The Documentary-Worthy Life").
If you're looking for something light-hearted, a "transportational" talk takes the audience somewhere. Teeg cycles through stories that illustrate lessons, but don't ask much of the audience. Story snacks that will delight the crowd.
Transactional talks blend the two - they don't ask the audience to make major fundamental shifts in thinking, but they introduce the idea of Heritage & Legacy films, the importance of your own story, and offer the audience a choice: is this something I want to do? Yes, no, maybe?
Speaking of Legacy
I’m a documentary filmmaker who helps people see their own lives as stories worth telling.
Earlier in my life I worked on some pretty high profile stuff - things like parts of the Super Bowl, the BASSMASTER Classic, The Van's Warped Tour, the Country Music Hall of Fame, NCAA March Madness. I’ve worked with high profile shows like Project Runway, and I’ve done work with the leading figures in outdoorsy programs like Ducky Dynasty or Swamp People or Mountain Men.
But I walked away from all of that to focus on the fascinating stories behind every door.
So now - as a filmmaker - I work with companies and communities, but much of my work is as a Heritage & Legacy documentarian serving families.
And when I stepped into that world, essentially becoming a biographer, I quickly discovered something that sets certain people and families apart.
So the secret of my talk - Living a Documentary-Worthy Life - affirms for everyone the they already have a compelling story. But it’s really about how understanding legacy transforms the way they show up in every part of their life, and also how the constant pressures of change and uncertainty become more manageable when we don't let the past fade to black or allow the future to be in fuzzy focus.
My keynote is story-led - I’m a professional storyteller - but it’s also practical, it’s interactive, and people leave with a new lens for the choices they make every day. But they leave with more than a new frame - they leave with steps that help them show up in their relationships whether that’s in their work, in their communities, or in their families.
We can take the practical stuff further through workshops which can involve applying storytelling to business, leadership, parenting or their own families.
In workshops, we can go as far as actually doing short film sessions, which is the most specific application of what I do.
That pivots from speaking, which is my secondary profession, to filmmaking, which is my primary one.
I’m a storyteller who happens to use film; I also write and publish, so workshops can be adapted to the needs of the group. But for me, it all centers on the deepest truths of story - that story isn’t a veneer you can tack on over dysfunction; the best stories are the authentic ones. The best stories are honest - and our lives tell the most meaningful stories when we’re focused not on the tyranny of the urgent and on our most pressing problems, but when we’re looking ahead, understanding that every decision we make is shaping our legacy.
